Christian Taubenschlag
FOUNDER AND MANAGING PARTNERChristian Taubenschlag is the founder and managing partner of CMAX Communications.
Christian has been advising and assisting both private and public sector clients with their corporate and public affairs communication needs for over 17 years.
Christian has a wealth of Government experience derived from multiple roles heading several Departmental communication units. Christian has also established himself as a trusted advisor to the Federal Government having held senior advisory roles to the Minister for Defence and the Minister for Home Affairs (Labor) respectively.
Christian has worked across a range of industries and represented clients involved in areas as diverse as defence, mining, agriculture, media and sports and has earned a reputation as a bold thinker and astute strategist who provides sound guidance and advice through the development and delivery of effective communication management.
Prior to establishing CMAX Communications Christian worked as a journalist.
Tara Taubenschlag
MANAGING DIRECTORTara Taubenschlag has worked in government relations, public relations and journalism for more than 15 years.
During her time at CMAX Communications, Tara has counselled clients on media management, reputation management, corporate communications, issue and crisis management, and corporate social responsibility. She has developed and implemented large events and campaigns for both the Federal Government and the private sector.
As a former print and television journalist, Tara maintains excellent relationships with the media. She specialises in media management, media training and media communications.
Her professional experiences also includes work for a variety of consultancy firms where she supported clients in the development and execution of public relations campaigns, government relations strategies, ASX company listings, the development and launch of company prospectus’, and campaign and media management of events.
Davina Langton
SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT
Davina Langton spent 13 years working in some of the most senior advisory roles within Commonwealth and State Government.
During that time she advised three New South Wales Premiers and was Chief of Staff to the Federal Minister for Defence.
Davina has policy expertise across a range of economic and social policy areas and directed the NSW Parliamentary and Legislative agenda for seven years.
Her strengths include the ability to formulate and develop critical public policy, forensically analyse and resolve difficult and sensitive situations, manage a diverse group of stakeholders and professionally communicate strategic messages.
She has a proven record in driving teams and individuals to achieve their best results, as well as forging strong relationships between government, business, industry and the wider community.
Davina has a proven ability to adapt rapidly to new challenges and relishes any opportunity to tackle complex, contentious, time-critical or unique situations.
Jennifer Doggett
HEALTH ANALYST & SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANTJennifer Doggett is a Fellow of the Centre for Policy Development and a consultant working in the health sector for a number of professional, industry and consumer groups. She has previously worked within the Federal Department of Health, as a political advisor on health issues and for a peak medical organisation.
Jennifer has recently prepared communications and media strategies for the Consumers' Health Forum of Australia, the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association and the Australian Healthcare Reform Alliance. In August 2011 she facilitated a workshop between consumer, industry and TGA representatives on the regulation and assessment process for medicines and devices in Australia. She also spoke at the recent 2011 National Medicines Policy Conference on this issue.
She is the author of "A New Approach to Primary Care for Australia", "Out of pocket: rethinking co-payments in health" and a contributing author of the recent book "More than luck: ideas Australia needs now".
Clare Brosnan
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Clare joins CMAX Communications as Account Executive, providing a range of research and communications duties.
Clare graduated from the University of Sydney with a Master of Strategic Public Relations and has previously worked in B2B Public Relations delivering communication strategies for a range of different clients.
Clare has a keen interest in both the media and politics ensuring that clients are provided with political developments as well as the latest economic and social policies.
